Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Rexa Pilot (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Service.

2. The Service

Rexa Pilot is a Chrome browser extension that provides an AI assistant in a sidebar — including chat with any web page, document Q&A (Knowledge Base), live web search, content summaries, instant replies, voice calls, a writing assistant, and a do-it-for-me automation agent. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time. We will give reasonable notice of material discontinuations.

3. Your account

• You must sign in with a valid Google account and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your access credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to form a legally binding contract in the jurisdiction where you live. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission.
• To request deletion of your account and data, contact us at privacy@rexapilot.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others.
• Generate, distribute, or facilitate harmful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
• Automate actions on third-party websites in ways that violate their terms of service, or that are abusive, deceptive, or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or access controls.
• Misrepresent AI-generated output as your own original work where that would be deceptive or violate applicable rules (for example, academic-integrity policies).

You are responsible for reviewing the actions of the automation agent, particularly before confirming submissions, purchases, account changes, or other consequential steps. The agent will always request your confirmation before taking such actions.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (prompts, files, text selections, voice input). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to operate and provide the Service — for example, sending it to AI providers to generate your response or indexing uploaded documents for your Knowledge Base. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you submit.

6. AI-generated output

• AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date. Verify anything important before acting on it.
• Output is provided “as is” and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or any other regulated advice.
• You are solely responsible for how you use generated content, including replies, emails, or documents drafted on your behalf.

7. Third-party services & websites

Rexa Pilot operates on websites you visit and relies on third-party AI providers and infrastructure. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party sites or services. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. 8. Plans, pricing & usage limits

Rexa Pilot is currently offered free of charge within daily usage limits. We may introduce paid plans or adjust limits in the future. Any such changes will be communicated to you with reasonable advance notice before they apply to your account.

9. Intellectual property

The Rexa Pilot name, logo, extension code, website, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to use our trademarks or copy our software beyond the rights necessary to use the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rexa Pilot and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $10.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rexa Pilot and its team from any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@rexapilot.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if your use of the Service creates risk or legal exposure for us or others.

14. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
